Centerpieces

(Not with carnations. Probably peonies, tulips, etc.)
Yesterday Alyssa and I went wedding things shopping. We went to Michael's and got great ideas for invites (you were right mom). We also went to the DI and walked out with all of my centerpieces! For under $50! I got a bunch of different shape/height glass bottles (a few in white or pink), some candle holders, a big square jar with a K on it (I know! What are the chances!) and some fun silver things for the sign in table. We're going to put about 3 on each table along with these adorable white and pink teacups. There will be various flowers in all of them. I felt so accomplished. I also made a wedding binder last night to keep all my wedding info and goodies in (per Lyssa's suggestion). Karl and I compiled a list of people we want invited to the reception and it's over 300 (more to be added as we remember them). It seems like a lot, but quite a few won't be able to come and a lot of them are kids. I bought a bridal magazine and decided to change my colors. I'm not sure to what exactly, but there will be magenta and white/ivory involved, so the navy and yellow are out. I'm still deciding on the other colors. Any suggestions? Maybe Magenta, yellow, and white? What do you think?

We also decided to do a little cookout for the luncheon post temple. It'll be cheap and easy. Just hot dogs, hamburgers, macaroni salad, etc.
