Last night Karl and I had a meeting with a friend of a friend who runs a little flower shop out of her house. I explained what I wanted and she got it. She was lovely and totally willing to work within our budget. We were in and out in about 20 minutes. She said something to me that I've heard a lot lately. She said, "Wow! A bride who actually knows what she wants! I love it!" The guy who did our invitations as well as the lady who altered my dress made comments along that same line. I never really considered myself a very decisive person, but as it turns out I am! I'm learning a lot of things about myself with all of this wedding planning business. It's a good thing.

Some more good news:
We bought a couch last night! We're almost furnished! One couch, two arm chairs, a bed, some end tables and a bureau. Now we really just need a kitchen table and chairs. :) Today we're painting everything the way we want it. Things are coming together nicely.

AND Alyssa and I will be startting our guest blogging on Affordable Utah Weddings today as "The Newlywed and The Nearlywed!" We'll be discussing ideas for receptions, good ways to save money, etc. We couldn't be more thrilled. I'll post the link here when it's all set. Be sure to check it out.
