Karl and Kristie: The beginning of Forever

Monday, February 22, 2010

So we're not officially engaged, but so many things are in the works right now. I know the ring I want and Karl knows how to get it. I bought a dress (it's amazing). We set a date and booked it in the Draper Temple (July 17, 2010 @ 9:00am). We're going to look at This is the Place on Saturday to maybe have our reception there. It's cheap, and it's a lot prettier than it looks. There are a lot of things we are planning in advance, and many people are questioning our judgement because I don't have a ring on my finger. To be honest, I don't care. Us two, Karl and Kristie, are the only people that matter in these plans. It's our eternity. Karl and I are still learning more about each other and what we need and want in our marriage. Sometimes it's really hard, sometimes it's not. I do know, our eternal marriage will be worth it all. We're a perfect fit and our life together is going to be wonderful. Stay tuned for more wedding plans!

So Krittles, check out wadleyfarms.com. It looks very pretty there and seems to have plenty of backgrounds for some cool photo opps (which my father in law will love!). Pricing is 1000-1100 for 10 to 3 and additional hours can be rented for 100. Believe me you will be at the temple a decent amount of time, Chris' dad is a photo nazi(in a good way(:)and will get plenty of pictures. The Bungalow, since you might be interested in catering, said according to your wants and needs will work on you with pricing. A lot of these more affordable places are in Utah Valley, but not as far south as Orem. They are plenty close by since you are getting married in Draper, and the prices seem overall cheaper as well. If you need someone to go with you to any site you look at call me. I will look more and keep you posted. If you want me to check anything else like parks let me know too! By the way, love the ring, it is so beautiful. Surprising how fast the wedding ring can grow on you, isn't it? I wasn't that particular at first until I started checking out styles to tell Chris, then it became too much fun to shop for!
